Boylan.
Through Working Open, Chris Boylan takes the Chief AI Officer seat on the leadership teams of companies with 10 to 100 people. He decides where AI actually belongs in the business, gets the team using it safely, and builds the software himself when something is missing.
Chris has spent twenty years as a software engineer and has been Chief Technology Officer at three companies. He has led the engineering teams at Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, Fatherly, CAFE, Daily Dot, and Nautilus.
He has led AI adoption inside companies and shipped AI-powered software to production. He uses AI in his own work every day, including building this website with AI coding agents.
